Free vs Pro plans, trial, and how to subscribe or cancel
Plans Overview
NoteLLM offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The free plan covers essential voice recording and transcription, while Pro unlocks the full experience.
Free Plan
The free plan includes:
- Voice recording with one-tap capture
- Local (on-device) speech recognition
- Multi-language transcription (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean)
- Full note management (search, edit, organize)
- Works on all supported platforms (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro)
The free plan is designed to be genuinely useful on its own. If local recognition meets your needs, you may never need to upgrade.
Pro Plan
Pro unlocks premium features for power users who need the highest accuracy and more flexibility:
- Everything in the Free plan
- Cloud recognition for higher transcription accuracy
- Priority processing for cloud transcriptions
- Access to advanced features as they are released

Both plans include a 3-day free trial so you can try Pro before committing. You will not be charged during the trial period.
How to Subscribe
- Open NoteLLM on your device.
- Navigate to the subscription or settings screen.
- Choose Pro Monthly or Pro Yearly.
- Confirm the purchase through the App Store. Your 3-day free trial begins immediately.
- After the trial, your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel.
Your subscription is managed through your Apple ID and works across all your Apple devices.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad (or System Settings on Mac).
- Tap your Apple ID at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find NoteLLM in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
After cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. You then revert to the free plan with no data loss -- all your notes remain accessible.
Restoring Purchases
If you reinstall NoteLLM or set up a new device, your subscription is automatically restored through your Apple ID. If it does not restore automatically:
- Open NoteLLM.
- Go to the subscription screen.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
Family Sharing
Subscriptions are tied to your individual Apple ID. Family Sharing is not currently supported for NoteLLM Pro.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow the instructions for the NoteLLM purchase.
